This was our first Vision Map made in 1998

During Term 3 the Year 3 and 4 Sustainable Elective learnt about how to make a new Sustainable Vision Map of our whole school.  This map shows the areas of the school environment that the students would like to change and areas that they enjoy. Our first vision map was made in 1998 and that’s how we got the fantastic Cultural Gardens and our wormeries for food scraps.  The second vision map was made in 2007 with many more great student ideas on it.  Most of these ideas have been completed, so we decided it was time for a new map. We are all really proud of the new Sustainable Vision Map.  It is really important when we are an Enviroschool that all the students and the community get a chance to discuss and share their ideas for this map. Our new map will be in the school foyer of the office for our community to look at.  If you have any new ideas you would like to add, please record them on sticky notes and put them on our new ideas page.
Thank you from the Year 3 and 4 Sustainable Elective

We practised mapping our school

We kept a diary of our learning and creative ideas

Students have always enjoyed places to hide.

It is important to us that we look after older projects too

Our Second Vision Map made in 2007

We explored our favourite places

Our study books showed our understanding

We learnt mapping skills and developed icons

Sharing with our families.

Getting feedback from our families
All the student's emailed ideas about special places
areas they like, underused areas, overused areas
