Year 3 students in Room 23 visited our school beehive. On the way there, they saw that many apples from our apple tree were falling on the ground, rotting and being wasted. They decided to write letters to the Year 5/6 students in Room 3 who are learning about this area of our school. In their letter, they came up with over 10 recommendations of what we could do to solve this problem. One of the ideas was to pick the apples and give them to different classes. Room 3 decided to do this and they gave all the apples left on the tree to Room 23 to enjoy. Great sustainable problem solving and team work.
